We are organizing the Walk for Cystic Fibrosis to raise money in order to help fund research for a cure. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetically inherited disease that causes mucus to build up in the lungs and/or digestive system. This can lead to difficulties breathing and frequent lung infections. Many CF patients are forced to receive lung transplants when breathing becomes too difficult. There are approximately 30,000 people living with Cystic Fibrosis in the United States and 70,000 worldwide with 1,000 more diagnosis every year. Please help us by joining the effort to find the cure for Cystic Fibrosis. The walk will be held April 28th from 9am to 6pm at Bradley Lake Park in Puyallup.
