The two have been married for 5 years, and Katie Holmes' attorney just confirmed that the two are splitting.  He said, "This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family.  Katie's main concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."

This was Katie's first marriage and Tom's 3rd. Their daughter, Suri, is 6 years old.
