Calvin Harris became a household name when the song he wrote and produced for Rihanna, "We Found Love," shot to #1 on the Billboard charts. The self-described dj/producer is back, this time stepping out on his own with new single "Feel So Close" – an indie-pop dance track that features Harris himself on vocals.

"I prefer how other people sound, but occasionally there's a song that suits my vocal, and that was one of those songs," Harris tells iHeartRadio. "I wanted to do a dance music tune that didn’t sound like every other dance music tune... I wanted to find the middle ground between guitar music and dance music but without it sounding contrived."

Harris hails from Scotland and has already had massive success overseas since coming onto the scene in 2007. His last album reached #1 on the UK Albums chart, and he has a collected handful of top ten songs throughout his career there, including recent hit "Bounce" featuring Kelis. With a new album on the horizon, Harris is poised to follow in the footsteps of David Guetta, Afrojack and Avicii in continuing to bring dance music to the masses on this side of the pond.
