Sun Sentinel: Three men that were accused of breaking into a home last December in Pensacola, Florida had their day in court together last week. And while they were walking in, a bailiff noticed one of them going through his pockets.
When the bailiff asked what he was looking for, the guy said he had lost a note from his lawyer. So the bailiff went looking for it, and eventually found it in the jury box.
But when he read it, he realized it WASN'T from the guy's lawyer. It was from one of the other defendants, who was trying to make sure they all had their STORY STRAIGHT.
When the defendants realized they were caught red handed, they decided to NOT bother with a trial . . . and entered GUILTY pleas instead.
